Hello my dear blogger friends! Yes, it has been ages since I've been blogging! I recently moved and started school again and I've had no time create! Plus, most of my crafty stuff is still packed away in boxes. Our new house has an unfinished basement and I'm just waiting until we can build my craft room down there (hopefully after the holidays). I recently took a class at my local scrapbook store and we made a Christmas tree album similar to this. I love the ideal so much...I had to create another one. This is my version! The album is so much prettier in person! I'm hoping to trade this with a very talented artist on Esty. She make the cutest little teddies!

I'm TEACHING at PaperTales!

The wonderful owner of Paper Tales, a local scrapbook store near my home, has asked me to teach a class on ATC's. I was so excited and felt honored that she wanted me to teach at her store. She told me to pick a theme and make 8 ATC's.....and of course I had to do "Fairies". The class will be taught on August 6th at 6:00 pm. 12x12 Scrapbook Page/Contest

My FAVORITE local Scrapbook store "Paper Tales", recently had a scrapbook page contest. The owner, Cass (the sweetest lady ever!), was blessed with a new grand-baby, Samantha. For the contest, we were to make a 12x12 scrapbook page of Samantha. I had never made a 12x12 page before and decided to step out of the box and give it a try. Well, I was so EXCITED to receive an email from Paper Tales today, there were over 40 entries for the contest and I couldn't believe that my page came in first place! When I stopped by the store to drop my page off, I had a look at the all the entries and there were so many amazing pages. Thanks to Paper Tales.....it was a lot of fun and I hope Samantha will enjoy her book when she gets older!

True Friends

I'm so sorry to all my blogger friends. I know I have been away for some time now. I was super busy with school, which left me with no time to create. I happy to say that I have the summer off and I finally have some free time to create.

This is my first attempt making a fairy canvas. For a present, I received the wonderful book "Taking Flight", by a true talented artist, Kelly Rae Roberts. This is where I got my inspiration from! This was such a fun canvas to do and I think I did pretty good for my 1st one (though the face was very challenging). I will be giving this as a gift to a very dear friend of mine, who will be moving out of state in a few weeks. I will miss her so much!

Well, I sure have miss you all and please drop in and say "Hello". I'm hoping to have a quiet summer (yeah right!), so I have LOTS of time to play, before I go back to school.

"Dream" ATC

Hello my dear friends! I'm sure you probably all thought I fell off the face of the earth. I haven't, I've just been overwhelmed with school this semester and have had NO time to create. My classes this semester is kicking me in the butt, but I am getting all A's....so I guess the tons of studying is paying off. I really shouldn't have taken the time to make this ATC, but I needed a break....at the moment I'm studying for my Muscle exam test. I need to learn all 600 muscles in the body and it is really hard!
