Well I'm a few weeks behind in the "Art Journal Caravan" and I'm hoping to catch up soon, before I get too far behind. Every week we have to make a page with a "new verb".....that is given to us every Friday. I just finished the 1st weeks journal page and I just loved how it turned out! The verb was "PROCESS".

Hope you like it and Thanks for stopping by!

Art Journal Caravan 2001

Background paper by Kitty Designs (Oscraps), Girl with Banner from Parcel 01 kit by Studio Tangie & Studio Rebbecca (Scrapbookgraphic), Splatter & Heart by Timo Designs (Scrapbird), Alpha by Catrine (CatScrap), Flowers & Circle Dots by Flergs (Scrapbookgraphics), Borders, Hat and Bird by Fiddlette Designs (CatScrap).

I recently joined and became a member of the "Art Journal Caravan 2011", organized by Studio Tangie from Scrapbookgraphic. This was a BIG and scary step for me, because I'm such a newbie when it come to creating digital art. It's also a little bit intimidating , because there are so many amazing digital artists and I just know I don't have the experience like they do. But being a self-taught artist......I know we all have to start off somewhere and the only way to learn is practice, practice, practice! So drove in and I'm so excited to start this year long journey!

You can read about the "Art Journal Caravan" here and what's all involved! I will be posting my weekly journals on my blog. I'm a few weeks behind, but I'm hoping to have a few days this week to catch up! I'm looking forward to meeting new people who are also a members of the Art Journal Caravan.

Thanks for looking and have a beautiful day!

It's been a LONG time, but I'm back!

This is a page I made of my beautiful daughter Myranda!
Kit "Beloved You" by Kitty Designs" from Oscraps

Hello to all my blogger friends, who I've missed so much! I must say that I haven't been blogging or creating in the past year. We moved a little over a year ago, and sadly all my art supplies are still packed away in boxes. I've been waiting so patiently to have my studio built in our unfinished basement, but time and money has kept us from starting this big project! But I'm happy to say, we are FINALLY in the process of doing part of the basement, with my studio being first. It's still going to be some time yet, but I can't wait until the day I can get my fingers and desk all dirty again! It's been TOO long! I was going a little crazy, so I had to figure out something to do, so I first taught myself how to crochet and I can't believe how easy and relaxing it is. But, I still wasn't getting my fix with creating, so I ventured into the world of "Digital Art and Scrapbooking". I pretty much taught myself photoshop (with a little help from my hubby) and have been LOVING learning how to create art on the computer. So until my studio is complete, I will be posting digital art I've created using amazing elements and kits by some wonderful designers.

I have a new look to my blog and I'm so excited to say, that I've designed my own blog and my sweet hubby helped me put it together. I MUST give credit to the amazing designer that I used to create this adorable blog. Her elements, papers and kits are just all so beautiful. She is "Studio Flergs" from Scrapbookgraphics. Please head over and see all the awesome kits she has for sale.

I'm so glad to be back! Please stop by and say "Hi".....I've missed you all! And if ANYONE would like to do some sort of digital trade, PLEASE let me know.....that is the one thing I've missed the trading!

Lots of hugs to you all!
